Dear Jothimayi Ma,
Re India December 2010.
Looking well ahead now, my husband & I would like to know the arrangements for getting from Mumbai to Pune. Do we find our own way or will we be picked up .
Will we be given a list of hotels in Mumbai too. We will be there a few days before going to Pune.

Anantham Sri Jothikadal Ma,
We will be providing pick up from Pune till the Venue. So you have to arrange transport for Mumbai to Pune. We will be updating information about how to travel from Mumbai to Pune and will also assist fully for all early bird bookings till June 2010 for the same. So you can arrange your travel plan till Mumbai and soon you will get a detailed information from us for traveling Mumbai to Pune.
About your stay in Mumbai, Mumbai has a very good range of hotels and please let us know in which area you will be staying in Mumbai so that we can have list of hotels present there. Even though we can not book any hotels in Mumbai, we will make sure that you will get as much as help from us in India.

What would be the earliest time on the 7th or 8th (allowing for delays, getting to the airport, possible post-retreat activities, etc.) that I could book my return flight? I need to get back to work as soon as possible, but I want to allow enough time so that it is not stressful and so that I don't miss anything, of course!

Dear Jothi Veeram Ma
The current plan is that the group will travel back to Pune from Shirdi on the morning of the 7th.so ideally, you should arrive back at Pune in the afternoon. From there you have to travel to Mumbai (probably by car). To be safe I would recommend that you book a departing flight from Mumbai for the evening of the 7th.

Dear Jothi Veeram Ma,
We would be leaving from Shirdi on 7th Dec at 11 am and will reach to pune max by 5 pm. So keeping 2 more hours as buffer, you can start your travel from Pune to Mumbai at 7 pm and you will reach to Mumbai Airport by 11.30 pm midnight. So it would be good for you to book any flight starting at or after 12 midnight i.e. start of 8th Dec.
What we are also planning is once we get all confirmed participants, then by the date of 10 Nov, we will get flight details of all participants so that we can book cab for all who are comming from Mumbai airport to Pune. Also we will book cab to reach to Mumbai airport for departure flights in the same way.

Dear Jothima & Abhinandan,
Thank you so much for the information. I very much appreciate your assistance. I am looking at a flight that arrives in Mumbai at 11:45pm on Wed, December 01 and departs from Mumbai at 2:45am on Wed, December 08. I believe this should work well with the proposed schedule, yes? I will need a hotel in Mumbai the night of December 01 either near the airport or near where I can be picked up by the KK Travel Agency to go to Pune. I would very much appreciate help with planning this hotel night and with the travel agency when the time comes to do so.

Timings that you have chosen for flights are perfect. As soon as you come back to Pune from Shirdi, you can have KK travel pick up to go to Mumbai airport.
I am not sure if we can book any hotel for you in Mumbai as we are operating from Pune and doing anything in Mumbai is very difficult for us. But you can search on google for nearest hotels to Mumbai airport and can book a room for you online. Hotel room rent at that place will range from 50USD to 200 USD.
